The infrared method for diagnosing exterior wall deterioration technology realizes the rationalization of the maintenance management of structures and the reduction and efficiency of maintenance costs. The surface of the exterior wall is warmed by external heat, which is then transmitted to the concrete medium. At this time, if there are any areas of delamination on the exterior wall, the air layer that forms in the gaps obstructs heat transfer, causing the surface temperature fluctuations to be greater and hotter in the damaged areas (delaminated areas) compared to the intact areas. "Idemitsu Smart OC" is a technology that allows for easy on-site diagnosis of the degradation and contamination state of lubricants using a smartphone and a photographic module. By simply photographing the lubricant placed in the module with a smartphone, a dedicated app performs analysis based on lubricant analysis data, calculating the remaining lifespan percentage and the quantity and size of contaminants. This enables the determination of the appropriate timing for lubricant replacement based on numerical data, contributing to the stable operation of machinery and equipment.
